Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, school-based BCBA to support students in a Niwot, Colorado school setting. You will assess behavioral needs, develop strategies, and monitor progress with school teams.

This role emphasizes collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers to promote meaningful student outcomes. Responsibilities include FBAs, BIPs, data review, and ongoing consultation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with BCBA coursework and supervised experience to qualify for BCBA certification.
• Active BCBA certification through the BACB.
• Colorado Department of Education authorization to provide services in a school setting.
• Experience in educational settings preferred.
• Familiarity with IDEA and Colorado special education requirements; FBAs and BIPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
• Create and support behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Review student data and track progress.
• Provide behavioral services, evaluations, and consultation.
• Coordinate with teachers, special education staff, and families.
• Support case management, documentation, and planning.
