TheraPeds Partners in Longmont, CO is seeking a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral support in a school setting. This role focuses on direct therapy, FBAs, BIPs, data analysis, and collaboration with teachers and families.

The position offers 2–5 hours per week during Oct 2026 through May 2027, with guaranteed hours and in-person duties. W-2 or 1099 arrangements may apply, and compensation is hourly.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in ABA, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification and Colorado authorization to practice in a school setting.
• Colorado CDE authorization/credential for BCBA in CO schools.
• Experience in school/educational settings preferred.
• Knowledge of CO special education requirements, IDEA, FBA, and BIP preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with electronic documentation systems.
• Fingerprint/background clearance as required.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, families with tact and discretion.

As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver meaningful, student-centered services while building strong partnerships with schools, families, educators, and other professionals. This is a part-time, school-based role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serving a school located in Longmont, CO. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for providing behavioral support to students, conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), analyzing student data, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound clinical judgment, and a passion for supporting students with diverse behavioral and educational needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and appropriate Colorado Department of Education (CDE) authorization to provide services in a Colorado school setting
• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) authorization/credential appropriate for serving as a BCBA in a Colorado school setting
• Experience working with students in a school or educational setting preferred
• Knowledge of Colorado special education requirements, IDEA, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in the use of technology and electronic documentation systems
• Fingerprint/background clearance as required by the school district
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, educators, related service providers, students, and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

Working and engaging with students requires that employees be able to perform necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, and engaging with students in various physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
