Job summary

TheraPeds Partners seeks a dedicated BCBA for a full-time school-based role in Redwood City, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. The analyst will deliver behavior analytic services to middle and high school students, collaborate with educators, families, and district staff, and ensure ethical, culturally responsive practices.

Responsibilities include FBAs, BIPs, data-driven decision making, and supervision of RBTs. Competitive hourly pay and guaranteed hours are available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field meeting BACB requirements.
• Current BCBA certification through BACB.
• Active or eligible for licensure in California as a behavior analyst if required by the position.
• Experience with FBAs and BIPs in school settings.
• Familiarity with IDEA/IEP processes and school-based services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs to identify functions of challenging behaviors.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized BIPs.
• Provide direct and consultative ABA services in classrooms and groups.
• Use ABA strategies including reinforcement and functional communication training.
• Collect and analyze behavior data to evaluate progress.
• Supervise RBTs and provide coaching to school staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, psychologists, and administrators.
• Prepare progress reports and participate in IEP meetings.
