Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) for a school-based position in Menlo Park, CA. This role serves middle through high school students and offers guaranteed hours with dual district and TheraPeds support.

The BCBA will conduct FBAs, develop BIPs, participate in IEP meetings, analyze data, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other specialists to drive student progress.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification in good standing with BACB.
• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Experience performing FBAs and developing BIPs in schools.
• Solid knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions.
• State DOE licensing where required.
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with technology and data collection tools.
• Fingerprint background clearance required.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, admins and families with tact.

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
• Develop, implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Analyze behavioral data and make data-driven recommendations.
• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with families to support consistency across environments.
• Support on-site delivery of BCBA services at the school.

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) serving a school located in Menlo Park, CA.

The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
• Experience working with children
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
