Qualifications

• Master’s in special education, behavior analysis, or psychology required.
• BCBA certification required.
• Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) by VA Board of Medicine or license eligible.
• Minimum 3 years of BCBA experience in a school setting preferred.
• Experience supervising individuals seeking national certification (BCaBA/BCBA).
• Knowledge of ASD; PBIS preferred.
• Driving with clean record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide credential-based supervision to individuals seeking national certification (BCaBA/BCBA).
• Coach and monitor Behavior Specialists on assessing classroom environments and student behavior.
• Identify and implement environmental modifications and behavior intervention strategies.
• Complete FBAs and write behavior intervention plans.
• Train staff to implement behavior plans and ensure fidelity.
• Present assessment results and IEP-related updates to teams.
• Deliver trainings and workshops; develop data collection practices.
