Job summary

Rivermont Schools in Virginia is seeking a BCBA to design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral programs within educational and therapeutic settings. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote positive behavior and meaningful progress for each learner.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and BCBA certification or licensure eligibility, with supervisory experience in school/community settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services, education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or licensure eligibility as a Behavior Analyst by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
• Supervisory experience in a school or community-based setting serving individuals with disabilities.
• Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
• Provide clinical supervision, staff training, and ongoing performance feedback to ensure program fidelity and quality.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate behavioral strategies within educational and therapeutic settings.
• Monitor data and outcomes to guide program adjustments and ensure progress toward student goals.
• Deliver direct services and crisis support as needed, maintaining compliance with all clinical and documentation standards.
