Job summary

Danbury Public Schools is seeking a qualified Behavior Analyst to apply ABA principles to support students with behavioral and developmental needs. You will collaborate with teachers, service providers, administrators, and families to design, implement, and monitor instructional and behavioral programs that promote student success.

Qualifications

• Current BACB BCBA certification in good standing.
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, monitor, and evaluate ABA-based instructional programs with written protocols.
• Establish data collection and graphing systems; train staff in data analysis.
• Conduct FBAs; prepare reports and participate in PPT meetings.
• Provide ongoing staff training and coaching on ABA-based interventions.
• Collaborate with staff, students, families to set instructional and behavioral goals.
• Review progress with student-centered teams and assist problem-solving.
• Maintain confidential records per district and legal requirements.
