Job summary

Ability Builders is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to support students with Autism in a Colorado school setting. You’ll conduct FBAs, develop BIPs, and lead behavior programming while collaborating with a Special Education Teacher on academic planning.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, with no billable-hour quotas and a focus on deep student-specific behavior supports.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
• BCBA certification required.
• 2+ years of experience with autism or developmental needs.
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, data analysis, and coaching.
• Interest in IEPs and school-based service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs aligned with IEPs.
• Lead behavior programming, communication, and replacement-skill development.
• Analyze data and adjust programming based on results.
• Oversee treatment integrity and behavioral supports.
• Model, coach, and provide feedback to instructional staff.
• Support crisis prevention using trauma-informed practices.
• Collaborate with the Special Education Teacher on planning.
• Participate in IEP development and interdisciplinary planning.
• Maintain BACB/state/school documentation.
