Job summary

AHRC Nassau is seeking a BCBA-qualified professional to supervise and train staff in implementing behavior analytic interventions for students within our New York program. The role emphasizes data-driven instruction, IEP goal development, and collaboration with families and clinicians.

The ideal candidate will hold a BCBA and NYS license (preferred), have SCIP experience, and be capable of coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support students with autism and related disabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teachers and implementing ABA-based interventions.
• Trained in SCIP and knowledgeable about ABLLS and VB-MAPP.
• BCBA certification and NYS licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train teachers in behavior analytic interventions for skill acquisition.
• Assist in developing IEP goals using ABLLS and VB-MAPP.
• Analyze learning environment and data to adjust instruction.
• Provide Behavioral Intervention Services per IEP mandates.
• Maintain behavior data records and supervise emergency interventions.
• Coordinate with BCBA and attend interdisciplinary meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
