Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Nassau County, NY. The role supports schools and families with evidence-based behavioral interventions, FBAs, and BIPs. Positions are available as part-time (FFS) or full-time with comprehensive benefits.

The candidate should hold NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA certification, have a Master’s in a relevant field, and at least one year of experience. A NYS driver’s license is required, with bilingual skills considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in a school setting.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators and families.
• Experience in planning and implementing behavioral supports.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and develop effective intervention strategies.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and interpret behavioral data to adjust interventions.
• Provide coaching and training to classroom staff on behavior management.
