Job summary

Gersh Autism is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to coordinate assessments, design and supervise behavior plans, and support students with autism across multiple Long Island locations. The role focuses on ABA program effectiveness, collaboration with families, and ongoing staff training.

Candidates should hold a NY-licensed BCBA in good standing with the BACB, with at least two years of ABA experience and proficiency with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and FBA.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• BCBA in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Licensed Behavior Analyst in NY state.
• Minimum 2 years' ABA experience with children on the autism spectrum.
• Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA, etc.).
• Expertise in skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
• Experience supervising BCBAs and/or Behavior Technicians (RBT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and evaluate functional assessments and behavior plans.
• Conduct and supervise evaluations and educational plans for clients.
• Provide parent and staff training sessions and clinical meetings.
• Supervise BCBAs, RBTs, and other staff; participate in performance feedback.
