Job summary

SESI is seeking a BCBA to collaborate with teachers and school teams to implement individualized behavioral supports for students. You will observe, assess, and develop data-driven plans while monitoring progress and providing guidance to staff and families.

The role emphasizes partnership with educators, family engagement, and the creation of actionable behavior interventions within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must have earned their BCBA License.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
• Proven ability and working knowledge with Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior training and consultation to school personnel.
• Facilitate family engagement (general training, newsletters, access to external supports).
• Collaborate with external partners and providers to support students, families, and staff (bridge home and school).
• Observe students in their educational environment, analyze data, and conduct assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK) to increase student success.
• Write ABA reports based on observations and recommendations for the educational team.
• Create and model implementation of behavior programs/strategies in the school environment.
• Help create materials (visual schedules, token boards, social stories) for the team to use.
• Facilitate data collection with educational teams to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with the educational team to develop behavior intervention plans for students with behavioral concerns.
• Review and analyze data and provide follow up consultation and modifications as needed.
• Identify and assess behavioral difficulties affecting attendance, adjustment, academics, and achievement.
• Participate in team meetings and IEP conferences.
• Present on ABA and behavior modification techniques to the team.
• Opportunity for RBT, BCBA, BCBA Trainees supervision.
