Job summary

Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) is seeking a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for River Street School in Windsor. You will develop and monitor behavioral programs, assess progress, and train staff in evidence-based ABA strategies to support students with autism and related needs.

The role emphasizes data collection, goal writing, and collaboration with the clinical team to ensure compliant, effective interventions and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• MBA degree not required; preferred master’s in ABA or related field; licensure required.
• BCBA certification and CT Department of Public Health licensure are mandatory.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supervising ABA programs with data-driven progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor individualized behavior intervention programs based on assessments.
• Write formal behavioral goals and progress summaries for students.
• Train staff in evidence-based, applied-behavior analytic strategies.
• Monitor fidelity of behavioral programming and data trends.
• Provide training to RBTs and supervision to junior analysts and trainees.
• Coordinate crisis prevention and intervention training for staff.
• Collaborate with clinical team on assessments like VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R, ASIEP.
