Job summary

Rivermont Schools is seeking a BCBA to design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral programs supporting students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to promote positive behavior and meaningful progress.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, BCBA certification or licensure eligibility, supervisory experience, and expertise in ABA and Verbal Behavior. This is a full-time on-site role in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services, education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• BCBA certification or licensure eligibility as a Behavior Analyst by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
• Supervisory experience in a school or community-based setting serving individuals with disabilities.
• Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) practices.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
• Provide clinical supervision, staff training, and ongoing performance feedback to ensure program fidelity and quality.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate behavioral strategies within educational and therapeutic settings.
• Monitor data and outcomes to guide program adjustments and ensure progress toward student goals.
• Deliver direct services and crisis support as needed, maintaining compliance with all clinical and documentation standards.
