Job summary

Rivermont Schools is seeking a BCBA to design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral programs for students with emotional and developmental challenges. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote positive behavior and meaningful progress.

The role requires BCBA certification or licensure eligibility, supervisory experience in school settings, and expertise in ABA and Verbal Behavior.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services, education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• BCBA certification or licensure eligibility by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
• Supervisory experience in a school or community-based setting serving individuals with disabilities.
• Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) practices.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
• Provide clinical supervision, staff training, and ongoing performance feedback to ensure program fidelity and quality.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate behavioral strategies within educational and therapeutic settings.
• Monitor data and outcomes to guide program adjustments and ensure progress toward student goals.
• Deliver direct services and crisis support as needed, maintaining compliance with all clinical and documentation standards.

Education
