Achievement First in Rhode Island is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral assessment, consultation, intervention development, and staff training within a school setting. The BCBA will support students with behavioral and educational needs, align with RI standards, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure FAPE.

This full-time position emphasizes ABA methods, data-driven decision making, and modeling for school staff across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification.
• Current Rhode Island licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment.
• Experience working with school-aged children with behavioral, developmental, social-emotional, and/or autism-related needs.
• Strong collaboration, communication, organization, and consultation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide modeling and direct instructional support to help staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Support the IEP process with behavioral data, assessment findings, and consultation.
• Utilize ABA methodologies in educational settings.
• Collect and analyze data to guide programming and accountability.
• Promote inclusive practices and equitable access to education.
