Job summary

BEAM is hiring a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) to provide behavioral support at multiple school sites under the supervision of a BCBA. The role focuses on implementing individualized behavior plans and evidence-based ABA strategies for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.

You will work closely with school staff, paraeducators, and BEAM teams to promote positive outcomes, collect data, and ensure consistent programming across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, special education, or related field.
• Current BCABA certification through BACB, or eligibility for certification.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based strategies.
• Understanding of behavior intervention plans and implementation.
• Strong data collection, organization, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently under supervision and accept feedback.
• Willingness to travel between school sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support at various school sites under BCBA supervision.
• Collaborate with school staff, district teams, paraeducators, and BEAM staff.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and ABA strategies.
• Provide direct and indirect behavioral support based on plans.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral and educational data.
• Monitor progress and communicate observations to the supervising BCBA.
• Assist with skill acquisition programs to increase communication and independence.
• Implement behavior reduction strategies using ABA principles.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency in programming.
• Provide modeling, coaching, and staff training under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in team meetings and school-based meetings.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Communicate progress and concerns to the BCBA and team members.
• Assist with orientations and training related to behavior plans and ABA.
• Support programs with behavioral strategies and instructional supports.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with requirements.
• Travel between school sites as assigned.
• Engage in ongoing professional development in ABA practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by BEAM administration and/or BCBA.
