Job summary

Behavioral Emotional and Academic Mentoring LLC is seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) to provide behavioral support at multiple school sites under the supervision of a BCBA. Job Title: Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA)

Job Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) to join our team and provide behavioral support at various school sites. The BCABA will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans and evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies for students with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and other support needs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with school staff, district behavioral teams, paraeducators, and BEAM staff to promote positive student outcomes and ensure consistent implementation of behavioral programming. This position requires strong communication skills, flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting students in educational settings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral support at various school sites and work collaboratively with school and district personnel.
• Serve as a liaison between BEAM staff and school/district partners regarding the implementation of student behavior plans, under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and other behavioral programming as developed or approved by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide direct and indirect behavioral support to students based on their individual needs and established treatment or behavior plans.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate and timely behavioral and educational data as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations and data to the supervising BCBA to support ongoing evaluation and treatment planning.
• Assist with the implementation of skill acquisition programs designed to increase communication, independence, social skills, academic readiness, and other functional skills.
• Implement behavior reduction strategies using evidence-based ABA principles and procedures.
• Collaborate with paraeducators, teachers, related service providers, and other school personnel to promote consistency in behavioral programming.
• Provide modeling, coaching, and support to staff regarding the implementation of behavior intervention plans and ABA strategies, as appropriate and under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in team meetings, student conferences, and other school-based meetings as requested.
• Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with students, families, school personnel, district partners, and BEAM staff.
• Communicate student progress, concerns, and relevant observations to the supervising BCBA and appropriate team members.
• Assist with staff orientations and training related to the implementation of student behavior plans and ABA strategies, as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Support programs with the implementation of behavioral strategies, curriculum-based interventions, and instructional supports.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable school, district, BEAM, and professional requirements.
• Travel between various school sites as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and expand knowledge of ABA principles and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by BEAM administration and/or the supervising BCBA.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, special education, or a related field.
• Current BCABA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or eligibility for certification as required by the position.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and/or other support needs.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based behavioral strategies.
• Understanding of behavior intervention plans and ability to implement interventions accurately and consistently.
• Strong data collection, organization, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively and professionally with school staff, district personnel, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently while also accepting direction and feedback from a supervising BCBA.
• Flexibility and willingness to provide support across various school sites.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate and timely documentation.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in behavior analysis.
