Job summary

Behavioral-Emotional- is seeking a BCABA to provide behavioral support across school sites under BCBA supervision, implementing BIPs and ABA strategies for students with developmental disabilities.

You will collaborate with school staff, collect data, train paraeducators, and ensure confidentiality while traveling between sites. This role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.
• Current BCABA certification or eligibility for certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support at various school sites and work collaboratively with school and district personnel.
• Serve as a liaison between BEAM staff and school/district partners under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and other ABA programs.
• Provide direct and indirect behavioral support based on individual needs and plans.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral and educational data as directed.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the BCBA.
• Assist with skill acquisition programs to increase communication, independence, and social skills.
• Implement behavior reduction strategies using evidence-based ABA principles.
• Collaborate with staff to promote consistency in behavioral programming.
• Provide coaching and training to staff on ABA strategies under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in team meetings and school-based conferences.
• Develop positive professional relationships with students, families, and school teams.
• Communicate progress and concerns to the supervising BCBA and team members.
• Assist with staff orientations and training on student behavior plans.
• Support programs with behavioral strategies and instructional supports.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable requirements.

Job Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) to join our team and provide behavioral support at various school sites. The BCABA will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans and evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies for students with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and other support needs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with school staff, district behavioral teams, paraeducators, and BEAM staff to promote positive student outcomes and ensure consistent implementation of behavioral programming. This position requires strong communication skills, flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting students in educational settings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral support at various school sites and work collaboratively with school and district personnel.
• Serve as a liaison between BEAM staff and school/district partners regarding the implementation of student behavior plans, under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and other behavioral programming as developed or approved by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide direct and indirect behavioral support to students based on their individual needs and established treatment or behavior plans.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate and timely behavioral and educational data as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations and data to the supervising BCBA to support ongoing evaluation and treatment planning.
• Assist with the implementation of skill acquisition programs designed to increase communication, independence, social skills, academic readiness, and other functional skills.
• Implement behavior reduction strategies using evidence-based ABA principles and procedures.
• Collaborate with paraeducators, teachers, related service providers, and other school personnel to promote consistency in behavioral programming.
• Provide modeling, coaching, and support to staff regarding the implementation of behavior intervention plans and ABA strategies, as appropriate and under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in team meetings, student conferences, and other school-based meetings as requested.
• Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with students, families, school personnel, district partners, and BEAM staff.
• Communicate student progress, concerns, and relevant observations to the supervising BCBA and appropriate team members.
• Assist with staff orientations and training related to the implementation of student behavior plans and ABA strategies, as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Support programs with the implementation of behavioral strategies, curriculum-based interventions, and instructional supports.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable school, district, BEAM, and professional requirements.
