Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Greenwood Village, Colorado, seeks a full-time American Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) for a school-based role for the 2026-2027 school year. This on-site position offers guaranteed hours and collaboration with district and TheraPeds teams.

You will interpret classroom instruction for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, coordinate with Teachers of the Deaf, special educators, and related-service staff, and ensure meaningful access throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• ASL and English fluency with strong receptive/expressive skills.
• EIPA score 3.5+ as applicable in Colorado.
• Completed written assessment/testing as applicable.
• RID certification preferred.
• Experience in K-12 settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL-English interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities.
• Interpret communications among students, teachers, administrators, and related-service staff.
• Support access to academic instruction, group activities, and school events.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional interpreter boundaries.
• Collaborate with Deaf/Hard of Hearing staff and educational teams.
• Prepare for curriculum terminology to support accurate interpretation.
