Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time school-based American Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) in Greenwood Village, Colorado for the 2026-2027 school year. You will provide ASL-English interpretation in-person across classrooms and school activities, collaborating with Teachers of the Deaf, Special Education staff, and related-service professionals.

Qualifications

• Fluency in ASL and English with strong receptive and expressive skills.
• EIPA score 3.5+ as applicable to Colorado requirements.
• Teacher/educator collaboration; ability to interpret in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL-English interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities.
• Interpret conversations between students, staff, and school personnel.
• Support access to instruction and participate in IEP-related meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards.
• Prepare for content with curriculum terminology to support accurate interpretation.
• Collaborate with Deaf/Hard of Hearing teams and teachers to support communication accommodations.
