Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to support students across multiple school locations during the 2026-2027 academic year. The role involves full-time hours, August 3, 2026 through May 28, 2027, across a range of school levels from high school to K-8 in a coastal region.

You will interpret in classrooms, facilitate communication between Deaf or hard-of-hearing students and staff, and help ensure an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Sign Language Interpreter credentials with minimum EIPA 3.5.
• Experience interpreting in educational settings.
• Strong knowledge of ASL and ability to adapt communication styles for diverse students.
• Collaborates with students, educators, and staff.
• Professionalism and reliability to foster inclusive learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide sign language interpreting in assigned classrooms and throughout the school.
• Facilitate communication between Deaf/HH students and peers, teachers, and staff.
