Qualifications

• Assists and guides students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction and other skills.
• Works with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning and implement programs.
• Supports classroom staff with assessment administration and scoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with special needs to maximize inclusion and progress toward IEP objectives.
• Support general education instructional staff across activities and materials.
• Assist in classroom preparations and strategies for reinforcing instructional materials.
• Maintain documentation of student learning and performance.
• Assist with behavior management to keep students on task and safe.
• Participate in field trips and supervise non-instructional activities as needed.
• Communicate with parents per request to promote engagement in learning.
