Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals is seeking an ABA Therapist for an on-site contract in Needham, MA. The role provides direct behavioral support, implements ABA strategies, and helps students build communication and social skills within a school setting.

Responsibilities include data collection, collaboration with school staff, and following safety/crisis procedures. A strong background in ABA and experience with neurodiverse students is preferred, with RBT certification optional.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field preferred.
• Experience with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs preferred.
• RBT certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, observation, data collection, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment and behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA or behavior specialist
• Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support student learning and skill development
• Collect and record behavioral and progress data accurately
• Support students with communication, social, self-help, and functional skills
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, therapists, and other school staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
• Follow established safety, crisis intervention, and de-escalation procedures as needed
