Job summary

Chelmsford Public Schools is seeking a 1:1 LPN at Chelmsford High School to provide medical and ADL support for a student with specialized health care needs, and to assist with accommodations in the classroom to promote learning. Starting date is immediate for the 2026-2027 year.

Licensure in Massachusetts and CPR/AED certification are required; pediatric nursing experience is preferred. Applicants must meet citizenship, residency, or work visa requirements.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts license to practice as an LPN.
• Valid CPR and AED certification from a recognized provider (e.g., American Heart Association).
• Nursing experience in community or child health; pediatrics preferred.
• Understanding of child growth and development.
• Ability to think critically and react decisively in emergencies.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents; maintain confidentiality.
