Job summary

Amergis is seeking a 1:1 School LPN/LVN to address student health needs within the school environment in Aston Township, PA. You will promote wellness and provide health education while monitoring students’ conditions throughout the day.

Responsibilities include identifying health concerns, coordinating care with school staff and referring to appropriate resources when necessary. A current state LPN/LVN license and CPR certification are required, with pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where service is provided.
• Minimum one year of school nurse experience preferred.
• CPR certification current; TB testing/PPD or chest X-ray as applicable; health certificate as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address health concerns for students in the school setting.
• Monitor students’ health throughout the school day.
• Refer to appropriate healthcare resources when needed.

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN is responsible for identifying and addressing health concerns in students within the school setting. This role includes promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supporting disease prevention efforts. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student’s physical condition throughout the school day and refers to appropriate healthcare resources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the School LPN/LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state education codes.
