Job summary

Amergis in Washington state seeks a School LPN/LVN to identify and address health concerns in students within the school setting. You will promote general wellness, provide health education, and support disease prevention while monitoring students throughout the day and referring to healthcare resources when needed.

You will work under the LPN/LVN scope of practice and state education codes. Must hold a current WA license; one year of school nursing experience preferred and pediatric experience;

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state which services are being provided.
• One year of school nurse experience, preferred.
• One-year pediatric experience, preCurrent CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN is responsible for identifying and addressing health concerns in students within the school setting.
