Amergis is seeking a School Aide in Westminster, CA for a part-time contract role. The position involves supporting students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and teachers.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals. The role requires a high school diploma, CPR if applicable, and compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The School Aide works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• May provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a health professional.
