Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities and instructional materials under supervision.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Implement instructional programs and lesson plans under teacher supervision.
• Maintain classroom work areas, equipment, and records.
• Monitor students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds and lunch areas.
• Communicate with teachers and staff regarding progress and observations.
• Report incidents involving student behavior or safety to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to emergencies involving students and ensure assistance is provided.
• Attend meetings and training sessions related to job responsibilities.
• Support classroom teachers and school personnel with instructional and organizational tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
