Job summary

The Treasure Valley Family YMCA is seeking a School Aged Area Director to manage operations for Child Development and School Age sites in Canyon County. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring safety and program quality, and guiding financial development within branch and association parameters.

Qualified candidates have a degree in early childhood development, substantial experience with children, and managerial background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development or related field.
• Minimum 60 college credits in early childhood education to be completed within 3 years.
• Minimum 5 years working with children.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total operation of assigned Child Development and School Age sites.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, including hiring, onboarding, coaching and scheduling.
• Develop and monitor program budgets to meet fiscal objectives.
• Expand and establish new programs per strategic plans.
• Respond to member and community inquiries and complaints.
