Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. in San Jose, CA is hiring teaching staff to support planning and implementation of programming for children from infants to school age. You will facilitate activities, promote social-emotional development, and supervise children in a safe, healthy setting.

Responsibilities include creating engaging curricula, maintaining enriching classrooms, and partnering with colleagues to deliver high-quality programs while ensuring safety and responsiveness to families and communities.

Qualifications

• 24 postsecondary semester or equivalent units in Early Childhood Education or related field with passing grades.
• AA degree or higher in ECE/CD or related field from an accredited college.
• Teacher Permit or higher issued by the California CTC.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned to children's interests.
• Create and maintain enriched learning environments for all age groups.
• Provide excellent customer service with authentic, culturally responsive relationships.
• Ensure children's health and safety with proper supervision and compliance.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs and a positive work environment.
