Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking an Associate Teacher to support planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming for children from infants to school age, depending on location.

You will facilitate activities, support social-emotional growth, and maintain a safe, healthy classroom environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and culturally responsive practices, with shifts Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6pm, at a California center.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of group care experience preferred.
• Ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities.
• Strong communication with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children’s interests and promote positive development.
• Create and maintain enriched learning environments and experiences for all ages.
• Provide authentic, culturally responsive connections with children, families, schools, and center teams.
• Ensure children are supervised, healthy, and safe; follow safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver quality programs and a positive workplace.
