Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking teaching staff to support planning and implementing Catalyst's programming for children from infants to school age, depending on location.

Qualifications

• 24 postsecondary units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field with passing grades of C- or better, plus 16 GE units
• AA degree or higher in ECE, CD, or related field from a nationally accredited college
• Teacher Permit or above issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• 2 years of experience in a group care environment with a consistent age group preferred
• 1 year supervising adults or equivalent units if preferred
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred
• Bilingual/multilingual ability depending on center needs

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children’s interests and promote positive child development
• Create and maintain enriched, age-appropriate learning environments and quality experiences
• Provide excellent customer service with authentic connections and culturally responsive relationships with children, families, schools, communities, and center/classroom team
• Keep children healthy and safe through proper supervision, positive interactions, healthy habits, and compliance
• Collaborate with staff to provide high-quality programs and creative workplaces
