Job summary

Whitin Community Center in Douglas seeks a proactive School Age Site Coordinator to oversee the before- and after-school program in Blackstone Valley. You will ensure safety, maintain records, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth across the Douglas classrooms.

Working with the BVCP Administrator, you will manage supplies, plan snacks, engage families, and coordinate curriculum planning, reflecting Whitin's commitment to quality childcare and community involvement.

Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid certification as per EEC requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven administrative and organizational abilities.
• Experience coordinating child care programs or school-age activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Douglas school age program conforms to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date child files and prepare item lists for administrator to complete.
• Create Sign In & Sign Out sheets for Douglas classrooms weekly.
• Maintain inventory of classroom and snack supplies; plan schedules for snacks.
• Prepare orders of supplies and food for approval one week in advance.
• Capture activities photos for BVCP social media; coordinate with director.
