Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Montague Township Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position is part-time and non-exempt, with programs in the morning and/or afternoon. We offer employer-paid childcare, health benefits, and flexible scheduling aligned with the school day. Candidates should be reliable, friendly, and ready to engage with children and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or preferred.
• 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:00 - 9:00 am

Afternoon Program: 3:15 - 6:30 pm

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks.
• Requires the ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children.
• The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues, along with a consistent record of reliability and punctuality.
