Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking School-Age Childcare Staff for the Healthy Kids Programs at Elsinboro Township School in Salem, NJ, for the 2026-2027 school year.

This part-time, non-exempt role follows the school calendar and offers employer-paid childcare benefits, flexible morning/afternoon shifts, and opportunities to work with children ages 5-12. Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and be willing to pass state background checks; physical requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required
• Candidates must pass state background checks
• Must meet physical demands including bending, stretching, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills when working with children and families

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and be a positive role model
• Observe state guidelines and program policies

Schedule: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:15 am

Afternoon Program: 3:00 - 6:00 pm

Position Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks.
• Requires the ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children.
• The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues, along with a consistent record of reliability and punctuality.
