Job summary

Alexandria Public Schools Community Education is seeking creative, energetic, and personable people who have a passion for families and outstanding customer service skills to join our dynamic Compass after-school program serving PreK-5th grade.

This 9-month position offers 23+ hours per week (M-TH 3:30-5:30pm; Fri 7:00am-5:30pm) with potential for summer hours. Compensation starts at $17.86/hr with up to $3.50/hr bonus. Sick leave and EAP are provided.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have previous experience working with PreK-5th Grade students.
• Be a self starter and perform a job with little supervision.
• Must be in good physical condition.

Compass is Alexandria Community Education’s school-age care program, providing before and after school, non-school day and summer care for students PreK-5th Grade.

9 Month employee w/ additional opportunity for summer hours.

23 hours+/week
