Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a School-Age Childcare Lead for the Before and After School Program at Bethel Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. Roles follow a school-day schedule with morning and/or afternoon sessions and employer-paid childcare benefits.

The position requires a mixture of education credentials and relevant experience, plus background checks and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Hours align with school calendar, with part-time, non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess one of the listed degrees.
• Bachelor’s degree including 30 credit hours plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree including 30 credit hours plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• CDA credentials plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art and homework completion.
• Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children.
• Observing state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Certain positions may perform management functions such as attendance records, registration, and staffing.
