Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Bethel Elementary School and Penn-Bernville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

The role entails leading activities, supervising children and staff, and coordinating with families while maintaining safe ratios. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with school-aligned hours and employer-paid childcare benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in relevant human services field plus required years of experience with children under 13.
• Background check, fingerprinting and reference checks required.
• Must be medically fit for the job including a clear TB.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage staff and children.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support).
• Actively supervise children and staff, including playground oversight.
• Maintain safe staff-to-child ratios and strong behavior management.
• Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling; liaise with families and the main office.
