Job summary

Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA is seeking a CDL Bus Driver to transport school age children and camp participants to and from designated schools and field trips. The role requires caring for youth, maintaining a safe environment, and complying with transport policies.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, ensure vehicle cleanliness, complete required logs, and participate in trainings. A valid CDL Class C with passenger endorsement and CPR/First Aid certification are required within 30 days of

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class C with Passenger endorsement; air brakes if applicable.
• DOT physical/drug test completion.
• Background checks and clear driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to/from schools and field trips safely.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre-trip/weekly inspections.
• Complete logs and documentation for vehicles as required.
• Attend staff trainings and follow YMCA policies.
• Communicate professionally with children, staff and parents.
• Act as an ambassador of the YMCA in all interactions.
