Job summary

Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a responsible School Bus Driver to transport program participants to and from designated sites. The role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and a positive, mission-driven attitude aligned with YMCA values.

Essential duties include safely operating a YMCA school bus, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensuring safe boarding and disembarking of passengers. Availability Monday through Friday during school year and summer is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• Experience driving children or group transportation.
• Availability: Monday–Friday 6:45AM–9:00AM and 2:00PM–4:00PM during the school year; 8:30AM–4:00PM during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a YMCA School Bus.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain transportation logs.
• Ensure safe boarding and disembarking of passengers.
• Follow all traffic laws, YMCA policies, and child safety protocols.

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a responsible and safety-focused, School Bus Driver to transport program participants to and from designated program sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a positive, supportive attitude aligned with the YMCA’s mission.
