Job summary

YMCA of Southwest Florida is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for program participants, including children and staff to schools and field trips, with supervision as needed.

Must hold a valid Class B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement; pay is $18.00/hour without School Bus Endorsement and $25.00/hour with endorsement. This role requires background checks, safety training, and adherence to all YMCA policies.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL and School Bus endorsements.
• Experience transporting children is highly desirable.
• Ability to meet health and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for program participants.
• Supervise children during bus rides and ensure adherence to rules.
• Communicate effectively with children, families and staff.
• Report incidents promptly to the Transportation Coordinator.
