Job summary

ECE Subhub is seeking a School Age Before/After Care Coordinator to support a before- and after-school program in the Waterford School District. This split shift position runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 9:00 am and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm, at one location.

You will supervise children, plan activities, manage routines, and build positive relationships with families and school staff while maintaining a warm, professional presence in the program.

Qualifications

• We are looking for candidates with formal education in early childhood or related fields.
• Degree or credential in child-related fields is preferred.
• Current CDA credential is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervising children to keep them safe during before and after school hours
• Planning and leading age appropriate activities, games, and homework time
• Managing daily routines, including arrival, snack, and dismissal
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and school staff
• Maintaining a warm and professional presence in the program

Education

Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development

Current CDA credential

School Age Before/After Care Coordinator

ECE Subhub is hiring a School Age Before/After Care Coordinator to support a before and after school care program in the Waterford School District. This is a split shift role, Monday through Friday, with a morning shift before school and an afternoon shift after school.

What you will do

You will lead the daily before and after school care program and help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for school age children. Responsibilities may include:

• Supervising children to keep them safe during before and after school hours
• Planning and leading age appropriate activities, games, and homework time
• Managing daily routines, including arrival, snack, and dismissal
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and school staff
• Maintaining a warm and professional presence in the program

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet one or more of the following:

• Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development
• Current CDA credential

Experience working with school age children is preferred.

Preferred: CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification. If you are not currently certified, we will provide certification.

• Pay: $15 to $22 per hour

• Availability: Both shifts, Monday through Friday
