Job summary

ECE Subhub is hiring a School Age Before/After Care Coordinator to support a before and after school care program in the Waterford School District. The role offers split shift hours, with a morning session before school and an afternoon session after school.

You will lead the program, provide a safe and engaging environment, and collaborate with families and school staff to ensure a positive experience for school-age children.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development.
• Current CDA credential

Responsibilities

• Supervising children to keep them safe during before and after school hours.
• Planning and leading age appropriate activities, games, and homework time.
• Managing daily routines, including arrival, snack, and dismissal.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.
• Maintaining a warm and professional presence in the program.

School Age Before/After Care Coordinator

ECE Subhub is hiring a School Age Before/After Care Coordinator to support a before and after school care program in the Waterford School District. This is a split shift role, Monday through Friday, with a morning shift before school and an afternoon shift after school.

What you will do

You will lead the daily before and after school care program and help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for school age children. Responsibilities may include:

• Supervising children to keep them safe during before and after school hours
• Planning and leading age appropriate activities, games, and homework time
• Managing daily routines, including arrival, snack, and dismissal
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and school staff
• Maintaining a warm and professional presence in the program

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet one or more of the following:

• Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development
• Current CDA credential

Experience working with school age children is preferred.

Preferred: CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification. If you are not currently certified, we will provide certification.

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $15 to $22 per hour
• Schedule: Split shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 9:00 am and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
• Location: Waterford School District
• Availability: Both shifts, Monday through Friday
