Assistant Group Supervisor / Group Supervisor
A Child’s Place is seeking part-time, on-site,* LEAD* Before and After School Teacher who will be responsible for the supervision and care of our school-aged children in grades Kindergarten through 5th. This is a highly collaborative role working closely with our established team of teachers. Our Before and After School teams work inside each district's elementary school to provide fun, age-appropriate activities and games to keep children busy while awaiting the start of the school day or pick-up. This person will be responsible for the structure of the programs, supervising and assisting support staff, handling parent issues and child issues and planning and leading all activities and schedules. This position is ideal for someone with high energy, friendly, and reliable and outgoing personality.
A typical before/after school program consists of arts & crafts, STEM projects, outdoor time, gym time (if the space is available) and homework assistance if needed. Our teachers are also responsible for building positive, professional relationships with our parents and families to support open and continuous communication.
