Job summary

The Parkway School District is seeking an Administrative Assistant II at McKelvey Primary (Preschool) in Missouri.

The role supports daily clerical tasks, attendance and records, scheduling, and communications for the assigned administrator. Starting pay is $19.15 per hour, with benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement plans, and generous leave. Experience in school or administrative settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a school or administrative setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with general school supervision to ensure student welfare and secure office environment.
• Compiles data for reports or requests (attendance, discipline, transportation).
• Maintains documents/files/records for up-to-date information and legal compliance.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and materials.
• Monitors students referred for illness or disciplinary action.
• Prepares correspondence, reports, and other materials for documentation and communication.
• Processes documents and reimbursements per administrative guidelines.
• Responds to inquiries from district staff, parents, and the public.
• Schedules appointments, meetings, travel, and facility usage for administrators.
• Performs other duties to ensure efficient office operations.
