Job summary

Scholarship America, a leader in administering private scholarships, seeks a Scholarship Program Administrator to manage a portfolio of scholarship programs. You will work with client partners through contract approval, student applications, evaluations, selections, notifications, college payments, and reporting.

You will consult with clients on best practices to improve student outcomes and support cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Background with client relationships through account management and/or customer service.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups in on-site and virtual environments.
• Excellent professional communication across verbal, written, chat and email channels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time management.
• Attention to detail to ensure programs comply with contracts and timelines.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office Suite.
• Strong aptitude for learning and using new software tools.
• Initiative to analyze and solve problems.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Desire to improve student outcomes for marginalized students.

Responsibilities

• Foster partner relationships and guide programs to maximize impact.
• Complete scholarship processes using multiple systems.
• Share knowledge and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Maintain detailed student and financial records and oversee award payments.
• Provide professional support to clients, students, parents, and schools.
• Support organizational change to increase efficiency and improve technology.
• Prioritize work to meet program timelines and deadlines.
• Understand applicant evaluation and participate in scholarship awards.
• Update program details and prepare periodical reports.
• Collaborate with other teams to meet program needs.
• Invoice and maintain financial accounts for assigned programs.
