Job summary

Strong leadership, analysis, and communication skills are essential for success. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in retail with space management tech, plus a BA/BS (MBA a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 3+ years of retail experience with space management technology.
• 2+ years of managerial/supervisory experience in Merchandising, Marketing, or Retail Leadership.
• Previous experience in a Schematic Leadership role is preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of space planning tools: Symphony i2e, Apollo, Blue Yonder, Relex.
• Experience with store reset activity and implementing schematics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee creation of schematics for ~15% of the store, focusing on categories with national strategies and low locality.
• Leads team by example, empowers team members, and provides technical/strategic guidance for development.
• Collaborates with National and Division merchant teams to align goals and maintain a constructive approach.
• Guide team in developing high-impact, locally relevant schematics to improve sales, profitability and market share.
• Drive team to meet KPIs and set industry standards using knowledge and resources.
• Allocate schematic resources, set goals, monitor progress, and manage changes.
• Understand and manage Reset/NICI shelf activities, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation.
• Expert in schematic tools and reporting/analytics; generate actionable insights.
• Train and develop team; promote tech enhancements and continuous improvement.
• Provide timely communication and align with stakeholders during feedback cycles.
