Job summary

Verland CLA is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to lead the development, rollout, and ongoing management of an electronic scheduling program across Community-Based Living homes and service locations. You will standardize processes, transition to a centralized system, and ensure adequate staffing to support quality services and regulatory compliance.

This role serves as the scheduling subject matter expert, collaborating with program leadership, managers, float staff, PRN workers, and staffing

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of workforce scheduling principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Proficiency with workforce management and scheduling software.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of staffing regulations and scheduling compliance preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and rollout of electronic scheduling system across locations.
• Develop standardized scheduling procedures and templates reflecting staffing needs.
• Create reporting tools to monitor staffing trends, overtime, and compliance.
• Serve as administrator for scheduling system and provide training materials.
• Coordinate staffing coverage, manage vacancies, and address shortages.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize workforce deployment and reduce overtime.
