Job summary

Emplify Health is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to ensure efficient appointment scheduling and patient care at our Onalaska, WI location. You will balance front-line customer service with collaboration across a team of providers and staff to support patient journeys.

The role supports a 36-hour week (0.9 FTE), with a training period on-site. Hybrid eligibility applies for WI, MN, and IA residents, and benefits include a comprehensive package and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• 1 year of office experience with customer service responsibilities.
• Strong organization, phone etiquette, and customer service skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge is a plus.
• Epic and healthcare systems experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients through top-level customer service.
• Collaborate with providers, medical staff and managers to support patient health journeys.
• Assist patients by scheduling appointments and coordinating care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduling Specialist! You'll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling of appointments for our patients. If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and thrive in a fast-paced environment,

What's Available:

• 72 hours bi-weekly (0.9 FTE), Full-time
• Shift: Monday-Friday, between 8:00am-4:30 pm, rotating day off every other week
• Location: On-site in Onalaska, WI for training
• Remote/Hybrid eligible. Hybrid eligible for residents of WI, MN, and IA with willingness to participate for onsite meetings and training as needed.

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients through providing the best first/last impressions with top level customer service.
• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.
• Provide customer service to patients by helping schedule appointments

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 1 year experience in an office setting requiring customer service responsibilities
• Strong organization, phone etiquette, and customer service skills
• Medical terminology and healthcare experience is a plus!
• Epic and healthcare systems experience desired
